J.J.P. Oud – Philip Johnson
‘J.J.P. Oud – Philip Johnson, een dialoog’, is de overzichtstentoonstelling van het werk van architect J.J.P. Oud in het Nederlands Architectuurinstituut in Rotterdam (2001). De tentoonstelling was samen met de uitgave van een oeuvrecatalogus het sluitstuk van een uitgebreid researchproject van de Rijksuniversiteit Groningen, waaraan Dolf Broekhuizen als mede-samensteller (Co-curator) en mede-auteur een bijdrage leverde. Het proefschrift van Broekhuizen (De Stijl toen – J.J.P. Oud nu) uit 2000 ligt ten grondslag aan deze tentoonstelling en catalogus. Het gehele oeuvre van Oud dat op allerlei niveaus nauw verbonden is met de architectuur
ontwikkeling van Nederland in de twintigste eeuw, staat centraal op deze tentoonstelling en in de catalogus. De ‘Welcoming Arms’, een speciaal ontworpen installatie door architect Philip Johnson, maakt onderdeel uit van de tentoonstelling. Vormgeving tentoonstelling: Marijke van der Wijst, Amsterdam
